The Home Ministry has corrected the transfer to the Valley Traffic Police Office among the SSP transfers made three days ago.
On 18 Jestha, as per the decision of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, who is also the Home Minister, Shanti Raj Koirala was given responsibility for the Traffic Police. However, after criticism was raised that his transfer was against the norms, the ministry corrected the transfer.
SSP Suresh Kafle has now been sent in his place. Earlier, SSP Dilip Ghimire was transferred to Kathmandu Police Chief, SSP Tul Bahadur Karki to Lalitpur, and Subash Chandra Bohora to the Narcotics Control Bureau.
Nakul Pokharel was transferred to the Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau.
