The Valley Crime Investigation Office team opened fire while arresting Sujan Shahi, who was involved in an incident in which a youth was attacked with a khukuri in Kirtipur.

A youth named Bipin Ghimire was killed by a sharp weapon in Bodetol, Kirtipur Municipality-10, on April 23 at 2:30 pm.

Police say the incident occurred after a dispute between friends over a minor dispute. Mahendra Shah, Rabindra Dhami and Roshan Bista, who were involved in the incident, had already been arrested.
