32 middlemen have been arrested from the survey office and the transport office in Laliptur. The District Police Range, Lalitpur, has informed that the middlemen were arrested from the survey office in Lagankhel and the transport management office in Ekantakuna.
According to the range, the person had unnecessarily harassed, tortured and obstructed the service recipients who came to the office to get services. A police team was deployed from the District Police Range and the subordinate Police Circle Satdobato and Ward Police Office Lagankhel to control the middlemen.
21 people were arrested from the survey office and 11 from the transport office. The police also stated that further investigation is underway in this regard.
