Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has reached the District Police Complex, Kathmandu. He reached the police office on Wednesday, where former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak and others are being investigated on the basis of the recommendations of the Gauri Bahadur Karki-led inquiry commission into the Gen-G movement of 23 and 24 Bhadra. Upon reaching the Bhadrakali police office, SSP Ramesh Thapa informed him about the work and actions of the police. Gurung has instructed him to work in an independent and transparent manner. The police officers also informed him about the losses suffered by the police during the Gen-G movement. Gurung had reached the same police office and pressured Oli, Lekhak and others to be arrested during the government led by Sushila Karki. Once, he had accompanied the victim's family members when they went to file a complaint.
