Nepali language journalist and writer Kiran Manandhar has passed away. He was 59 years old.

Manandhar, who entered the field of journalism from the Nepali language weekly Inap during the Panchayat period, worked as the editor of Nepali Language Times for more than three decades.
He has been writing about Nepali language and culture along with Nepal Sambat for a long time. Manandhar, who is also a modern poet in Nepali language, has also published a collection of poems. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
