The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is leading in both constituencies of Bhaktapur. In Bhaktapur 1, Rukesh Ranjit of the RSSS has secured the lead by getting 3,452 votes. He was defeated by Prem Suwal of the Nepal Workers and Farmers Party (NWP) who got 1,982 votes.

Nepali Congress' Kiran Neupane has secured 529 votes. In Bhaktapur 2, Rajiv Khatri of the RSSS has taken the lead. According to the Election Commission, he is being followed by Mahesh Basnet of the CPN-UML.
