The Armed Police Force has taken into custody a person with an INSAS rifle from Bhumdol, Suryabinayak Municipality-8, Bhaktapur on February 19.
A special team of the Armed Police Force Nepal Intelligence Bureau has seized a rifle along with 4 SLR bullets, 2 plastic rounds, 1 shotgun round, 1 khukuri and 2 cartridges, 1 axe and 5 syringes from the room of 31-year-old Ayan Sedhai, a resident of Palungtar Municipality-9, Gorkha District and currently residing in Bhumdol, Bhaktapur.
He has been handed over to the Nepal Police for necessary action. The rifle and ammunition were suspected to have been looted during the protest on Bhadra 23/24, informed Armed Police Force spokesperson DIG Bishnu Prasad Bhatta.
