A Simrik Air helicopter brought the fire under control by pouring water on it in the Tarebhir forest of Shivpuri Nagarjuna National Park on Sunday.
A fire in Suntakhan, Gokarneshwor Municipality-3, Kathmandu, has been extinguished by pouring water from a helicopter.
Security personnel, park employees, and local bodies were involved in controlling the fire.
