Three police officers working in Kathmandu for their outstanding performance have been awarded.
The Kathmandu Valley Police Office has awarded Superintendent of Police Pawan Kumar Bhattarai and Deputy Superintendent of Police Kaushal Kumar Budhathoki, working in the District Police Range, Kathmandu, for their outstanding performance in managing and controlling various protests, demonstrations, bandhs, fairs, festivals and sports activities in the Valley.
Similarly, Deputy Superintendent of Police Janardan Ghimire, Chief of the Police Circle Singha Durbar, has also been awarded for his significant role in land acquisition and infrastructure development by permanently utilizing 3175.19 square meters of land. The office has stated that the award was given with the belief that the excellent work will help keep the morale of other police personnel high and increase their motivation.
