Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has said that the House of Representatives elections to be held on 21 Falgun will be held in a clean, fair and fear-free environment.
Home Minister Aryal expressed this view during an on-site inspection and monitoring of the Sundarijal area of Constituency No. 3, Gokarneshwor Municipality, Kathmandu on Wednesday.
Home Minister Aryal has also instructed the election officers to be aware of the false, misleading and misinformation being circulated on social media and to prepare for the election in their respective constituencies to conduct it in a peaceful and fear-free environment. He was accompanied by Home Secretary Rajkumar Shrestha, Kathmandu Chief District Officer Ishwor Raj Poudel, Kathmandu Police Range Chief and Senior Superintendent of Police Ramesh Thapa, among others. During the inspection, a team including Home Minister Aryal conducted an on-site inspection of the polling station at Gokarneshwor Secondary School and the polling station at Okhreni Secondary School, Sundarijal.
Home Minister Aryal also inspected the office of the Election Officer in Gokarneshwor Municipality-4.
