The Traffic Office said that it has taken action against buses parked indiscriminately with the aim of maintaining order in the traffic system and prioritizing the safety of passengers.

Fifteen night buses have been taken into action for parking illegally.

SP Naresh Raj Subedi, Information Officer of the Valley Traffic Police Office, Baggikhana, informed that 15 long-night route buses that were parking illegally and affecting traffic management were seized from various locations during a special checking on Wednesday. 

According to Subedi, there is a legal provision for a fine of Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,000 for this offense under the Transport Management Act.   

The Traffic Office said that action was taken against the illegally parked buses with the aim of maintaining order in the traffic system and prioritizing the safety of passengers.
