Nepal Voluntary Blood Donor Society, Kathmandu, has celebrated the 20th National Voluntary Blood Donor Day with the core commitment of 'I donate blood'.

Blood Donor Day was celebrated by organizing a special function at the building of the local Central Blood Transfusion Service Center NERESO. The chief guest at the function was Bhikkhu Anand of the Department of Buddhist Studies, TU. Similarly, the guests were Dr. Vishesh Poudel, Technical Advisor Nepal Volunteer Blood Donor Society, Suryakumari Shrestha, Member NERESO Ad Hoc Committee Dr. Anil Bhattarai, Chief Manmohan Cardio Vascular Thoracic Center Teaching Hospital Dr. Kapendrasekhar Amatya, Dr. Manita Shrestha Rajkarnikar, Director of the Central Blood Transfusion Service Center Pawan Kumar Gupta.

At the function, Bramhatol Misa Puch, Dr. Ghanshyam Khatiwada of Event Solutions were honored by the chief guest with a certificate of thanks and appreciation. Similarly, voluntary blood donors who donated blood on an emergency basis were also given certificates of appreciation.
