Kathmandu, Traffic Police have arrested a thief who picked the pocket of Vijay Nagarkoti, who was lying on the road drunk, and returned the stolen Rs 68,000.

On Tuesday evening, a drunk Nagarkoti was robbed of Rs 68,000 after opening his pocket on the sidewalk of Khadkule Road near Kalanki in Kathmandu. 

In the meantime, Police Constable Krishnabir Thaite immediately took the thief into custody. The money recovered from the thief was handed over to Nagarkoti's relatives today, informed SP Naresh Raj Subedi, Information Officer of the Valley Traffic Police Office, Baggikhana.

According to him, the necessary investigation is underway into the incident and the pickpocket has been handed over to the Kalanki Police Division for further action.
