A fire broke out at Bhatedhikur in Suryabinayak-9, Bhaktapur, last night, causing damage worth around Rs. 3.58 million.

The fire broke out at a furniture factory run by Ramkrishna Shilpakar of Bhaktapur Municipality-3 at around 1:58 last night, according to the District Police Office's Chief of Police, Superintendent of Police Sutarya Bahadur Khadka. 

The fire spread and damaged a snack shop run by Subash Limbu and a shutter used by Maina Tamang to weave carpets, according to the police.

The fire was completely brought under control at around 3:30 in the morning with the help of police, locals and fire brigade. There were no casualties in the fire, according to the police.
