A man has been arrested on charges of murdering a co-worker in Bhaktapur.
Police arrested 27-year-old Sanjib Yakha of Sagurigadhi Rural Municipality-3 in Dhankuta on Monday.
Yakha, who was working on the construction of a 3.5-storey house in Vansagopal Degopana, Bhaktapur Municipality-3, allegedly beat up and killed his colleague Purna Thakuri, 34, of Udayapur, on Sunday night. Thakuri's body was found on the ground floor of the same house at 7 am on Monday.
Yakha, who beat up and killed his colleague at night, was arrested from Sallaghari in Bhaktapur at 8 am on Monday, informed Bhaktapur Deputy Superintendent of Police Prakash Jabegu.
