The march, jointly organized by the Land Rights Movement, the Struggle Committee against Microfinance and Financial Exploitation, and the Farmers' Workers' Movement Against Meter Bills Nepal, attracted more than fifteen hundred people from various districts, informed Bikash Kami, a member of the secretariat of the Farmers' Workers' Movement Against Meter Bills Nepal.
'People from the eastern districts of the Terai, from Jhapa to Kanchanpur, have come. More than fifteen hundred people from Kathmandu, Gorkha, Tanahun, Kaski and Lamjung have attended,' said Kami. 'Only representatives who are members of the district committees of the movement have come to this movement. After the corner meeting, preparations are also being made to submit a memorandum to the government today.'
