Prakash Mani Sharma Bhusal, the newly appointed member secretary of the Pashupati Area Development Fund, has announced that he will donate his salary and allowance to the Pashupatinath Temple fund.
After being appointed as the member secretary of the trust by Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Anil Kumar Sinha last Monday, Bhusal, while assuming office on Wednesday with the recitation of Vedic mantras from the temple of Nepal Veda Vidyashram, said that he would dedicate his salary to Pashupatinath and volunteer for his service.
'I will not take any salary from here, I will dedicate all the salary, including the services and facilities I receive, to the protection of Pashupatinath.' The amount collected from the salary will be used to preserve and promote the damaged heritage here, said Member Secretary Bhusal.
He also expressed his commitment to search for the missing Pashupatinath property. Member Secretary Bhusal said that he would be committed to developing the Pashupati area as a holy pilgrimage site for more than two billion Vedic Sanatan Hindus around the world and promoting religious tourism.
He was welcomed at the fund's office by the fund's treasurer Narayan Prasad Subedi, executive director Subhash Chandra Joshi and other employees.
