A fire has broken out at an under-construction restaurant in Thamel, Kathmandu.
Kathmandu Metropolitan City-26 Thamel A fire broke out at the under-construction 'Work It Pop' restaurant rent at Budhabare Galli at 10:30 am today, informed Police Circle Lainchaur Chief, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Jageshwor Bhandari. According to him, the fire, which broke out due to an electrical short circuit, was brought under control after about 45 minutes. Nepal Police had taken the help of two fire engines from Kathmandu Metropolitan City to control the fire.
The fire is now completely under control, Circle Chief Bhandari said. The police are collecting details about the extent of damage caused by the fire.
