One person has died after being hit by a car on a road in Keshar Mahal, Kathmandu. Two people, including a police officer, were injured in the accident.
According to Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office spokesperson, Superintendent of Police Naresh Raj Subedi, a pedestrian, including a traffic policeman on duty, was hit by an EV car with registration number Ba Pra 01-030 Cha 2348 on Tuesday afternoon.
He informed that an unidentified male pedestrian died in the accident. He died during treatment at the trauma center.
Traffic Police Constable Parashuram Thakur, working at the Traffic Police Division Durbarmarg, and car driver Suresh Raj Kalika were injured in the accident. The car hit two people and crashed into a nearby wall, according to the police.
