A 23-year-old man has been arrested on charges of trading cryptocurrency worth more than Rs 198.1 million. The arrested person has been identified as Mohammad Safey of Dallu, Kathmandu-15.

According to SP Pawan Bhattarai of the District Police Range, Kathmandu, he was arrested with two mobile phones used to transact illegal fiat currency. 

He said that a team deployed on the basis of a special information took him into custody and obtained permission from the court to keep him in custody for 5 days.
