What you should know

Little Angels College of Management (LACM)'s Hult Prize is organizing an entrepreneurship fair in collaboration with Digo Systems. The fair is scheduled to be held next Friday at the Pilachhen Community Homestay in Patan.

LACM, in collaboration with Sustainable Systems, is organizing the fair with the aim of supporting the businesses of entrepreneurs of all classes, from young people who have set their minds to do something in Nepal, to entrepreneurs of all classes, said Campus Director Ichcha Chand. She said, ‘This is a business pitching competition. Businesses that are available locally, even though they are good, have not found a good platform for their products. We want them to do well and the youth who are doing business in Nepal to grow.’

She said that the purpose of holding the fair at the homestay is also different. ‘The purpose is to let everyone know that even though the products are produced by the locals there, they are not able to show them in the market,’ she said, ‘The purpose is to encourage environmentally friendly products without using any plastic.’

Former Miss Nepal and Sustainable System's Srichha Pradhan said that the entrepreneurship fair will provide an opportunity to work closely with the community. She said, 'It teaches what social entrepreneurship should be like. This program is a chance to understand how every entrepreneurship is trying to introduce Nepali soil to other countries.'

Jena Maharjan, PR manager of the Pilachhen community, said that the program will promote Pilachhen and provide information to many about the various materials made there. She said, 'The materials needed in the community are made by themselves. This is aimed at making Pilachhen known not only in Nepal but also in other countries.'

The fair will be run as an open market. In addition, entrepreneurs will be able to display their products, various types of food, in various stalls.

The fair will provide a platform for various enterprises, startups, and individuals to showcase their products, ideas, and innovations produced in the community.

The organization said that it has organized this event with the aim of empowering small entrepreneurs, encouraging participants, supporting local economic activities, and community development.

Also, those interested in the Hult Prize competition can register for the competition through the official Hult Prize website. The Hult Prize is known as the Nobel Prize among students. It is an international student competition. Its aim is to make the youth of the world entrepreneurs for social change.

The Leo Club of Alka will also organize a blood donation camp at the fair.
