According to SSP Ramesh Thapa of the District Police Range, Kathmandu, three people have been arrested by the police recently, while one is already in the Central Jail on charges of criminal mischief.
The others arrested are Kumar Parajuli alias Alex, Sushil Shrestha alias Brown, and Jyati Thapa Ghatani. Alex was arrested and investigated for his involvement in the vandalism of the Police Circle, Baneshwor, when it was revealed that he was also involved in the arson of the Supreme Court.
Pariyar was arrested by the police on charges of walking around Singha Durbar with a police weapon pointed at him. It was revealed that the police had already filed 8 cases against him.
The Supreme Court had recently filed a complaint with the police asking them to investigate those involved in the arson.
