Minister Ghising inspects sewage management and road upgrading in Bagmati 'Corridor' area

Minister for Urban Development Kulman Ghising has inspected the waste management and road maintenance in the Bagmati River Corridor area in the eastern part of Kathmandu.

On Saturday, under his leadership, Secretary of the Ministry of Urban Development Gopal Sigdel, Secretary of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Management Keshav Sharma, Mayor of Gokarneshwor Municipality Deepak Risal and others took information about the river corridor and road upgrading from Guheshwari to Sundarijal area.

Minister Ghising said that the problems of sewage management and road upgrading seen in the Bagmati River Corridor will be resolved immediately. He pledged that the problems of coordination seen in the construction and maintenance of roads in the river corridor area of ​​​​the Kathmandu Valley between the Road Department, the Kathmandu Valley Development Authority and the empowered Bagmati Civilization Integrated Development Committee will be resolved soon.

He urged that the construction of the remaining bridges for the expansion of the Chabahil-Sundarijal road be immediately taken forward.
