Police have arrested a youth involved in vandalism, arson, looting of weapons and misbehavior of police personnel deployed for security at the Baneshwor Police Circle during the protest on Bhadra 10.

According to Superintendent of Police Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, Information Officer of the District Police Range, Kathmandu, 22-year-old Sheikh Siddique of Ward No. 4 of Siraha Municipality has been arrested. He was currently living in Aloknagar, Kathmandu-31. Police also recovered two gas gun cells while searching his room. 

Police are conducting further investigation against him with the permission of the Kathmandu District Court for criminal mischief and weapons and ammunition related offenses. According to Information Officer Bhattarai, the search has been intensified for those who vandalized, arsonized, looted weapons and mistreated police personnel deployed for security on that day in the name of protest.
