A case has been registered against four people on charges of vandalism at the house and office of the ward chairman of Budhanilkantha Municipality-12.

The defendants in the case are Rajkumar Tamang, 26, of Kavre and Budhanilkantha-10, Nishan Khadka, 22, of Solukhumbu and Budhanilkantha-11, Pawan Baniya, 20, of Okhaldhunga and Budhanilkantha, and Prem Bahadur Karki, 46, of Ward No. 12, Balkumari Tole.

Based on the investigation conducted by the police, a case has been registered against them in the Kathmandu District Court for the offence of criminal mischief.

A complaint was filed with the police alleging that they had entered the house of Shambhu Prasad Bhattarai, the ward chairman of Ward No. 12 of the municipality, and looted valuables by vandalizing and setting fire to it. After that, the police conducted an investigation based on publicly available photos and videos.
