Twenty juvenile delinquents escaped from the juvenile correctional home in Sanothimi, Bhaktapur today by breaking the door. The juvenile delinquents escaped by breaking the door of the correctional home this afternoon.

Of the absconders, 15 have been re-arrested from various places and the search for the rest is underway, said Prakash Jabegu, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office.

In the past, even though the correctional home is called a juvenile correctional home, clashes and vandalism have occurred in the correctional home after young people were kept as prisoners.
