The Traffic Police Office in Satdobato, Lalitpur, which was burned during the protests on Bhadra 10, has been reopened after being reconstructed and painted.
The youth volunteer group of the Church of God World Gospel Society Lalitpur branch took 10 days to complete the painting work. Before the painting, the traffic police office was reconstructed under the chairmanship of comedian Kiran KC (Rata Makai).
After the repair and painting, the traffic police office was restored to its pre-arson condition, informed Narayan Dulal of the group.
According to Dulal, after the painting, the group held a formal program on Thursday morning and handed over the building to the office chief, informing him that the entire work of the building was completed.
At the handover program, the office chief, Inspector Ram Bhatta, expressed gratitude for the support, saying that the positive work of the youth has given a message of hope, unity and service spirit to the society. He also said that with the reconstruction of the building, it has become easier for them to provide services in the old rhythm.
