After the government announced the election date and called for voter registration, there has been a rush of people to register their voter lists in Bhaktapur.

Voters are flocking to register their names at the District Election Office. The Election Commission has called on Nepali citizens who have attained the age of 16 to register their names on the voter list since October 10, and 250 to 300 people are currently registering their names in Bhaktapur every day. So far, 1,903 people have registered their names.

In which the participation of youth between the ages of 18 and 25 is high, said Bhim Bahadur BC, Information Officer of the District Election Office, Bhaktapur.

'Along with the registration of the new voter list, there is a rush of voters for corrections, removal of duplicate names, and relocation. Up to 300 service recipients come daily,' said Information Officer BC. According to the commission, the last date for registering voter lists is Kartik 30.
