Adhiraj Rai, Deputy Secretary of Internal Services and Planning Branch, informed that on Sunday before the Dasain holiday, the employees under the leadership of the General Secretary of the Federal Parliament, Padma Prasad Pandey, cleaned the garbage piled up in the Building No. 1 premises of the Federal Parliament Secretariat.

Adhiraj Rai, Deputy Secretary of Internal Services and Planning Branch, informed that the employees under the leadership of Padma Prasad Pandey, Secretary General of the Federal Parliament, cleaned the garbage piled up in the Building No. 1 premises of the Federal Parliament Secretariat on Sunday, the day before the Dasain holiday. 

In the protest on August 24, the vehicles in building number 2 premises were set on fire. 18 vehicles and 36 motorcycles were destroyed in the fire. Vehicles burnt due to arson have also been managed elsewhere from the secretariat premises.

Both the secretariat buildings and the warehouses in Singha Durbar have been saved from the fire.
