Police have arrested 6 people on the charge of unnecessarily harassing tourists visiting Swayambhu Stupa by forcing them to take pictures and taking more money.
Those arrested are Kaushal Tamang of Dhading, Dhunibenshi Rural Municipality-7 and Kathmandu Metropolitan Municipality-15, Nuwakot, Bidur Municipality-4 and Tyson Tamang of Nagarjun Municipality-3, Kakani Rural Municipality-1 and Subas Tamang of Nagarjun, Sindhuli, Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-1 and Sukchen Tamang of Nagarjun, Nuwakot, Tarakeshwar Rural Municipality-15 and Nagarjuna resident. Tamang and Kavrepalanchok, Dhulikhel Municipality-11 house and resident of Budhanilkanth is Rohit Gautam.
According to the police, they are being investigated for the crime of indecent behavior by taking an extension of 5 days from the District Administration Office Kathmandu.
