Brahmakumari Rajyoga Seva Kendra collected 11,916 pints of blood in four days. It has been mentioned in the press release issued by the organization that blood has been collected in this amount through the blood donation program held in different places of the country from the 6th of August till today.
According to the center, the blood was collected on the occasion of the 18th death anniversary of Rajayogini Dadi Prakashmanijyu, the former chief administrator of the organization and World Brotherhood Day. The center had set a goal of collecting one lakh pints of blood in 100 hours in Nepal and India. Blood was collected in Kathmandu, Biratnagar, Narayangadh, Rajviraj, Birganj, Pokhara, Dang, Butwal, Hetauda, Janakpur, Bhairahawa, Dhangadhi, Palpa, Baglung and Nepalganj in Nepal.
On August 6, five thousand 47 pints of blood were collected in one day. According to the release, blood collection in that amount is the highest in Nepal so far.
