The police have arrested a young man who committed character assassination by giving unlimited expression to individuals and organizations through social media. According to the Cyber Bureau, 39-year-old Mangal Singh Praja, a resident of Makwanpur Manhari Rural Municipality-3, was arrested.
Police spokesperson Deepakraj Awasthi informed that he was arrested because he was engaged in unlimited activities such as character assassination by spreading hatred and malice by posting with unlimited expressions targeting individuals and organizations. On Tuesday, the Bureau's team sent him to Kathmandu Metropolitan City-10, He was arrested from Shankhamul.
The bureau has informed that the arrested people are being further investigated for offenses under the Electronic Transactions Act, 2063 after taking a two-day deadline from the Kathmandu District Court.
