The wall has been filled with water and has been cleaned and painted under the leadership of the 'Sauga Hiti' Rotary Nyatpola near the Patan Durbar area.
The program was completed with the cooperation of Lalitpur Metropolitan Police, Sougal Toll Improvement Committee and Mangalbazar Police Station and Pravin Maharjan of Rotary Nyatpol.
'There was about 3 feet of water in the Hiti,' Maharjan said, 'In the first step, the water from the Hiti was removed, after cleaning it with a steel brush and pressure pump, it has become discolored.'
This is not only cleaning, but also responsibility towards cultural public property and a campaign to protect cultural heritage, said the president of the club, Vishnukant Ghimire. "This year, we have made various plans to protect cultural heritage, support children and cooperate with farmers," he said, "It has started with Sauga Hiti Sansafee."
Lalitpur City Police Chief Sitaram Hachethu said that he is happy to be a part of the heritage protection created by his ancestors in the plan of Rotary Nyatpol.
Built by Riddhinarsingh Malla, the brother of the then king Siddhinarsingh Malla in the 16th century to manage water supply, Sauga Hiti is also an excellent example of artistic craftsmanship. In the year 2022, the then King Mahendra had the restoration of Hiti.
