The police have arrested three people on the charge of cheating by saying that they will be sent to different countries by the lure of attractive salary for foreign employment.
Ashok Moktan of Makwanpur Manhari Rural Municipality-5 of Kathmandu Metropolitan Municipality-16, Salyan Kapurkot Rural Municipality-3 of Kathmandu Tarkeshwar Municipality-4, Tek Bahadur Ghartimagar of Bhaktapur Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-3 and Bimal Ale of Tanahun Vyas Municipality-4 of Bhaktapur Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-3 have been arrested.
Among those arrested, Ashok took 11 lakh 40 thousand rupees from the victims saying he would send them to UAE, Tek Bahadur 2 lakh 8 thousand rupees saying he would send them to Malaysia and Bimal took 12 lakh rupees saying he would send them to Serbia and became incommunicado. Based on the complaint of
victims, the team deployed from Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office Teku made arrests from various places in Kathmandu. According to the police, they have been sent to Foreign Employment Department Tahachal Kathmandu for necessary investigation and action.
