The police have arrested three people for their involvement in fraud.
Among those arrested are Vishal Ghimire of Kavrepalanchok Banepa Municipality-2 of Bhaktapur Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-1 Lokanthali, Samir Singh of Sarlahi Lalbandi Municipality-1 Nawalpur of Gaushala Kathmandu Metropolitan Municipality-9 and Ashok Kumar Yadav of Sarlahi Kavilasi Municipality-9 Salyanpur resident of Lalitpur Mahalakshmi Municipality-5 Emadol.
According to the police, they asked the victim to deposit the amount in the account on the pretext of showing the bank balance of Rs. Based on the complaints of the victims, the team deployed from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office Teku arrested them from various places in Kathmandu.
They have been sent to District Police Complex Kathmandu for necessary investigation and action on fraud related offences.
