The revenue consultation committee meeting of Kathmandu Metropolitan City has determined the budget limit of 25 billion 11 million. The meeting held on Friday under the chairmanship of Balendra Shah (Balen), the head of the Metropolitan Municipality, determined the budget limit for the next fiscal year 2082/83.

The meeting agreed to spend about 25 billion 11 crores for the next financial year  Determining the limits of the budget and preparing the budget for the public.  In the meeting, Chief Shah instructed to increase the budget for the development of infrastructure in accordance with the needs of the people. The Revenue Advisory Committee has also decided to increase the budget for infrastructure development in the next financial year compared to the current financial year.  

In the budget of the next fiscal year, 3 percent for economic development, 14 percent for office operation and administration, 51 percent for infrastructure development, 20 percent for social development and 12 percent for good governance and interrelated areas have been set.

Metropolitan Municipality is bringing the 2082/83 budget on Sunday.
