A woman has been arrested on the charge of cheating by saying that she will be sent to the UK with the lure of an attractive salary in foreign employment.
Bindu Pokharel of Nawalparasi Purvsunwal Municipality-1, Lalitpur Metropolitan City-23, who took 32 lakh 50 thousand rupees from 19 victims saying that she would send them to UK, was arrested by the team of Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office Teku. The victims filed a complaint against Pokharel who was arrested from Mahalakshmi Municipality-5.
He has been sent to Foreign Employment Department Tahachal Kathmandu for necessary investigation and action, police said.
