Most of the land of IA has been distributed to the residents of Chitrapur, which is a settlement of Bhaktapur during the Malla period, and has been enjoying it for hundreds of years. Napi office Bhaktapur has distributed the land share i.e. rich share to the Lalpurja-less natives of Suryavinayak Municipality-4 Dadhikot Chitrapur.
District Surveyor Office Bhaktapur has distributed parts to 98 residents of former Dadhikot gauis-8 and 9 and present Suryavinayak-4 in a program organized here today by Vasudev Thapa, head of Suryavinayak Municipality. According to the city office, Dr. Pradeep Sapkota, head of surveyor's office, Deepak Bisunge, president of Bhaktipur Land Commission, etc. distributed the parts to the residents.
City spokesperson and Ward President of Ward No. 7 Ravindra Sapkota said that the majority of the land was distributed to the residents who have been used for a long time but the land title registration has not been maintained and he mentioned that the smile on the faces of the locals could be seen upon receiving the title.
City spokesperson Sapkota said that the fear of confiscation by the government and not being able to take a loan by putting a mortgage in the bank is over because the land that has been used by themselves, even the concrete house has been built in their name, is over. He said that after the continuous initiative of the municipality, they have succeeded in distributing the spare parts to the residents.
