The police announced on Monday the three people arrested for their involvement in the robbery.
Among those arrested are 22-year-old Pasang Tamang of Kavrepalanchok Namobuddha Ghar, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-16 Srokhutte Nayabazar, 25-year-old Kiran Kumar Moktan and 28-year-old Nil Kumar Tamang of Tokha Municipality-10 Shrujana Tol.
According to the police, they ran away after beating and robbing them on the sixth floor of Dhuvratara Complex near Gongbu Bus Park, saying that they would help Indian tourists find a hotel in Thamel. Based on the
complaint, the team deployed from Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office Teku arrested them from Kathmandu Nayabazar. According to the police, they have been sent to District Police Complex Kathmandu for necessary investigation and action.
