The police have arrested 2 people on the charge of cheating by saying that they will send them to different countries in the lure of attractive salary for foreign employment.
Among those arrested are Finchu Lama who lives in Kathmandu Metropolitan Municipality-6, Ramechhap Umakunda Rural Municipality-6 and Uttam Khadka who lives in Sankhuwasabha Khandbari Municipality-3 and lives in Kathmandu Kageshwari Manohara Municipality-8. .
According to the police, Lama took 1 crore 80 lakh 93 thousand rupees from 45 people saying he would send them to Lithuania, Romania and other countries and Khadka took 2 lakh rupees from the victim saying he would send them to Serbia.
Based on the complaints of the victims, they were arrested from various places in Kathmandu by the team deployed from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office Teku . According to the police, they have been sent to Foreign Employment Department Tahachal for necessary investigation and action.
