The police have arrested 5 people with drugs from various places in Kathmandu.

Dakshinkali municipality- 5 arrested 2 people with Phenargan 960 ampoules, Norphin 500 ampoules, Diazepam 983 ampoules and Buprenorphine 487 ampoules from Farping. Among those arrested are Raj Kishore Sahni of Rautahat Garuda Municipality-9 Raghunathpur and Sukharis Sahni of Gaur Municipality-4 Tikulia. The police assigned to them from the local police office, Farping, found both of them with the drug while searching the sumo No. 1 J 5437 coming from Hetaunda towards Kathmandu.

Similarly, 3 people have been arrested from Kathmandu Metropolitan City-26 Pavitra Nagar with 600 milligrams of brown sugar-like substance and 180 thousand rupees in cash. Among those arrested are Ramhari Thapa of Sindhupalchok Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-5, Dinesh Acharya of Parvat Paiyun Rural Municipality-6 and Sachin Lamsal of Jhapa Bahradashi Municipality-2, who lives in Kathmandu Tarkeshwar Municipality-10 Manmaiju.

In this regard, the police said that they are conducting more necessary investigations.
