The police have arrested two people on the charge of fraud by saying that they will be sent to Bosnia and Malaysia after being lured by attractive salaries for foreign employment.
Among those arrested are Dipendra Gurung, resident of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-16, Lamjung Dordi Rural Municipality-5, and Rupi Maya, resident of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-15, Sarlahi Barhathwa Municipality-1.
According to the police, among those arrested, Dipendra took 7 lakh rupees from 6 victims saying he would send them to Bosnia and 5 lakh 57 thousand rupees from 6 victims saying he would send them to Malaysia.
They were arrested by the police assigned from Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office Teku based on the complaint of the victims. Police said that they have been sent to Foreign Employment Department Tahachal Kathmandu for necessary investigation and action.
