Arrested for swindling 2.6 million by saying that he will send it to Canada and UK

The police have arrested two people on the charge of fraud by saying that they will be sent to Canada and UK by the lure of attractive salary for foreign employment.

Those arrested are Deepa Sharma, resident of Budhanilkanth Municipality-11, Kapilvastu, Shivraj Municipality-5, and Vrijesh Subedi, resident of Jhapa Bhadrapur Municipality-4. 

According to the police, among those arrested, Deepa took 23 lakh 50 thousand rupees from the victim saying he would send it to Canada and Vrijesh said he would send it to the UK and became incommunicado.

Based on the complaint of the victims, both of them were arrested by the team assigned from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office Teku.

Among those arrested, Deepa has been sent to District Police Complex Kathmandu and Vrijesh to Foreign Employment Department Tahachal Kathmandu for necessary investigation and action, the police said.
