8 passengers were injured when a micro bus carrying passengers from Banepa in Kavre to visit the Bhubaneswari temple at Tinpiple, Tarkeshwar Municipality-3, Kathmandu, was injured.
Superintendent of Police Appelraj Bohra, Information Officer of District Police Complex, Kathmandu, informed that the brake failed on the micro lift number Ba 1 J 8685 and fell down about 10 meters from the road. Bohra informed that the injured were immediately rescued and taken to Mega Green City Hospital for treatment. It is said that the condition of all the injured is normal.
The injured are Sunita Khadka, Sharda Rawat, Anita Thapa, Kanchi Khadka, Ramshova Thapa, Shanta Khatri, Parvati Kafle and Lakshmi Khadka of Kavre Banepa Municipality-10. They have minor injuries on their hands, feet, head and lips.
After the accident, the driver and the micro bus are still at the scene. The police said that the vehicle is being recovered.
