Seven people have been arrested while gambling in a restaurant in Kirtipur. On Wednesday, based on the information that a gambling game was taking place in a restaurant in Kirtipur municipality-5, Rarahill, the team deployed from the police circle Kirtipur took them into custody.
According to Apilraj Bohra, Superintendent of Police of District Police Complex, Kathmandu, those arrested are 45-year-old Rajkumar Maharjan, 52-year-old Makhanlal Maharjan, 42-year-old Arendra Maharjan, 40-year-old Ujwal Maharjan, 44-year-old Jitendra Maharjan, 47-year-old Suman Singh and 39-year-old Rakjum Maharjan of Kirtipur Municipality-8 Panga.
Bohra informed that three Tas books were seized from them along with two lakh seven thousand seven hundred and thirty five rupees in cash.
