1 person has been arrested from Nagadhunga with gold worth 45 lakh rupees. According to Information Officer of District Police Complex Kathmandu, SP Appelraj Bohra, 31-year-old Mahadev Samant from West Bengal, India, was arrested with gold from Nagadhunga on Thursday night.
At the checkpoint located in Chandragiri Municipality-2 Nagadhunga, Samant was arrested with gold to be checked by police division Nagadhunga and Narcotics Control Bureau, branch office Nagadhunga in the passenger bus number BA.P.03-001 B 3139 coming from Kakdvitta towards Kathmandu.
He was arrested along with 274.83 grams of gold worth 45 lakhs three sixty thousand eight hundred and twenty six rupees and sent to Tribhuvan Airport Customs Office, Gauchar.
