Kathmandu Metropolitan Municipality Spokesperson Naveen Manandhar has been asked for an explanation by Metropolitan Chief Balendra Shah. But the city spokesperson Manandhar said that he did not understand the clarification letter.
"I didn't understand the letter," he said, "I was told that what I said to Mayor Sapp on a television was a personal attack and I should apologize for it."
'It is said that a criminal case will be filed according to the State Criminal Code, 2074,' he said, 'You should answer with legal advice.' Based on the interview given on a television on March 23, he said that the mayor may have asked for an explanation.
Mayor Shah's secretariat has asked Metropolitan Spokesman Manandhar for a seven-day explanation on June 8.
