8 vehicles were damaged when the public bus ran out of control near Pinglasthan in Kathmandu. 3 people were injured in the accident. According to the police, 2 of them are undergoing treatment in the hospital.
Kathmandu 8, SP Apilraj Bohra of District Police Complex, Kathmandu informed that the public bus of Baba Gokarneshwar Transport No. Ba 5 B 6735 which was going from Gaushala to Tilganga on the road section near Pinglasthan went out of control and collided with other vehicles.
At the time of the accident, 34-year-old Raktim Lama of Kavre was driving a micro number 5 731, and a car number 01-026 Ch 8576 was being driven by 27-year-old Ram Tamang of Sindhupalchok, Car number BAC 9773 driven by 53-year-old Triratna Prajapati, car number Ba 16 Ch 4452 driven by 41-year-old Pramprasad Gelal of Kathmandu, motorcycle number P-2-01-003 P 1005 driven by 37-year-old Shailendra Rai of Kathmandu, 32-year-old Rajkumar Shrestha of Kathmandu was driving a motorcycle numbered 51 P22 and Smita Dhungel, 19 years old of Bhaktapur, was driving a scooter numbered P-02-046 P4819. 35-year-old Subas Rana Magar of Dolakha, the bus driver who escaped after the accident, is now under police custody.
Rajkumar Shrestha, 32 years old of Dhading Jamalukhi Village Ward No. 01, the driver of Ba 51 P 22, and Vikas Kattel, 22 years old of Nuwakot Tadi Village Ward No. 02, who was sitting behind the same motorcycle, were injured.
According to the police Q-2-01-003 p 1005 37-year-old Shailendra Rai of Ward No. 05 of Khotang Halesi Tuwatchung Municipality, the motorcycle driver of No. 37, has been discharged after treatment. The condition of the two injured is also normal. The injured are being treated at KMC Hospital in Sinamangal, Kathmandu.
