A fire broke out in a cloth warehouse located in Satungal, Chandragiri municipality-11 of Kathmandu on Thursday morning. The fire has now been brought under control. However, the extent of the damage caused by the fire is not yet known.
According to Police Division Balambu, there was a sudden fire at 5:20 in the morning in a cloth warehouse on the ground floor of RR Complex.
Fire brigade of Chandragiri municipality, fire brigade of Balaju industrial area, fire brigade from Lalitpur, fire brigade of Nepali army and 2 fire brigades of Kathmandu Metropolitan Municipality were mobilized to control the fire.
The police, armed police, Nepalese army and local residents were also deployed and brought the fire under control. Police said that the fire was fully controlled at around 7:30 in the morning. The cause of the fire has not been revealed.
