The police have arrested Dipendra Mahat, resident of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-15, Gulmi Dhurkot Rural Municipality-3, on the charge of defrauding money by saying that he would send money to Romania under the lure of attractive salary for foreign employment. According to the police, Mahat took 950,000 rupees from six victims and became uncontactable.
Based on the complaint of the victims, the team deployed from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office Teku arrested him from Kathmandu-15.
The police said that he was sent to Foreign Employment Department Tahachal for necessary investigation and action.
